Hole 6 - La Rigouèche
The "Rigouèche" is this peaceful valley that will introduce you to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the famous Cabot Trail. You will find at the Rigouèche an information bureau with a center for interpretation of nature, a camping ground, three walking trails by the Chéticamp River and its famous salmon pools. Before the creation of the National Park, fifteen Acadian families lived here where George à David operated a sawmill for all the settlers of Cap-Rouge.
Advice from the Pro
This is a gentle Par 4, 380 yard drive from the whites.
The Tee Shot
From your tee-off, it appears that you have a long drive but your ball plays downhill and downwind, so be careful of your balance and direction.
The Fairway Shot
A mid to short iron should be enough to get you ball on the putting surface. The green is guarded by a bunker on the front-left, so avoid missing the green to the left. A miss to the front-right of the green will leave the player with a relatively easy chip and putt situation to save par.
The Green Shot
This is a mid size green and fairly level. The player can be agressive with the putting stroke.
