Advice from the Pro
This is a perfect way to complete the front nine at Le Portage. From the tee-off you have a panoramic view of the Highlands and the village of Cheticamp. This is a 150 yard, Par 3 from an elevated tee to a very large green.
The Tee Shot
The trick here is to pull the right club out of the bag. You will have to strike the ball well in order to allow it to land on the green.
The Fairway Shot
On this short fairway, there is rough to the left and walking paths beyond the putting green which you will have to be aware of. There is always a wind on this hole, so although it is a short one, you will have to give the ball a decisive drive to accomplish your goal.
The Green Shot
This is a huge green and it is very easy to three putt, so your work is not done just because your tee-shot found the green. After you have accomplished the front nine, you can either move on to the tenth hole or take a break at the club house which is to your right.
